Travel Clinic - Tropical Screening

For people working or coming back from overseas, we recommend tropical screening with the following components:

Full and comprehensive consultation, covering all potential health risks exposed to whilst overseas
Blood screening for parasites, including malaria and bilharzias
Full blood count – liver function test
Urinalysis
Stool examination for parasites, including Giardia and various worm infections
Tests for viral diseases – Hepatitis B and HIV

We also have facilities for rapid testing for chlamydia and other venereal diseases, with the appropriate treatment as required.
